Custom Metal Fabrication
Custom Metal Fabrication describes a manufacturing facility or manufacturing company that produces metal parts for other companies. Custom Metal Fabricators,
traditionally called job shops, take raw materials like stainless steel, carbide steel, or aluminum and produce finished parts for OEMs or other companies. These metal fabricators bend, weld, machine, turn, cut, laser cut the raw stock into parts.
Custom fabricators mainly offer their capabilities to larger companies that don't have the fabrication capabilities or find it more cost effective to outsource parts to a metal fabricator.
Metal fabricators can then
assemble these manufactured parts into completed products which are then shipped to the OEM for final packaging or further assembly into a larger product.
Some custom metal fabricators can even paint or powder coat the component parts as a part of the fabrication process. Penn Metal Fabricators provides metal fabrication from raw materials to completed finished products including assembly and powder coating.
