CNC Laser Cutting

Penn Metal Fabricators, Inc. has three laser cutting machines.

The first is an Amada Apelio II 357 CNC Punch/Laser which has a 58 station (1/2" to 4 1/2" 2-auto index) tool turret to punch holes, slots, etc. It also has a cutting head which can cut 1/2" Steel, 3/16" Stainless Steel, and 1/8" aluminum in sheet sizes of 50" x 72". This machine is interfaced with our CAD/CAM system and is capable of holding tolerances to +/- .004".

The second laser is a 5000 Watt Trumpf Trumatic L3050 which can cut up to 1" Mild Steel, 7/8" Stainless Steel, and 1/2" Aluminum with a repeatability of .002" on sheet sizes of 60" x 120". This machine is also interfaced with our CAD/CAM system.

The third laser is a 3200 Watt Trumpf Trulaser Tube 5000 tubing laser which can cut 1/2" to 6" round and 1/2" to 4 1/2" square tubing. Capable of cutting 1/2" mild steel, 1/2" stainless steel, and 3/8" aluminum up to 24' long.
