CAD | CAM

All of the CNC machines at Penn Metal Fabricators, Inc. are programmed using Planit Solutions Radan CAD/CAM system, which creates machine codes from CAD drawings of the parts. The Programs are directly downloaded from a computer to the individual machines. The CAD/CAM system allows us to generate machine code directly from customer supplied electronic drawings (DRG, DWG, DXF or IGES).

This system also delivers the ability to nest an unlimited number of parts of the same material and thickness to be nested together on one or multiple sheets of metal.
